The current fee recommended by the Australian Psychological Society is $330 for a 45-60 minute consultation with a psychologist.The approximate estimated time for a psychological and educational assessment is as follows:Initial Consultation – 30-45 minsIntellectual Assessment – 90 minsEducational Assessment – 90 minsReport Preparation – 150-180 minsSubsequent Consultation – 45-60 minsPlease contact us to discuss your child’s needs and a fee can be provided for the assessment required.

Some private health insurers offer a rebate depending on your level of cover. You will need to contact your private health insurer to enquire whether you can claim for the assessment.

Your child does not need a referral from your GP or any other professional to access our services.

Do you accept clients who have NDIS funding?

We work with self-managed and plan-managed clients only.  Butterfly Psychology for Kids is not a registered NDIS provider and we work with children aged 6 to 16 years.
